Vince Atta's act is built around a multi-track looper, building live hip-hop, reggae and techno from scratch on stage and fusing it with natural stand-up, storytelling and audience interaction as he goes. It is a genuinely distinctive format on the UK circuit, closer to a one-man music-comedy show than a conventional stand-up set, and it has made him one of the more unusual names working the clubs today.
He won the City Life Comedian of the Year award in 2006 and headlines most major British comedy clubs, including Manford's, Jongleurs, Laughterhouse, Just the Tonic, Last Laugh and the Frog and Bucket, as well as countless independents. His live-looping shows have also taken him across Europe, headlining in Barcelona, Zagreb, Warsaw, Budapest, Belgrade and beyond, and he has supported Jason Manford on UK arena dates.
