Paul Sinha is a London-based stand-up comedian and former GP who swapped medicine for the comedy circuit shortly after being nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2006. Known to millions from television as 'the Sinnerman', he brings a sharp, quick-thinking wit built from years spent competing at the highest level of quizzing, combined with warm, well-observed material about identity, family and modern life. He has played every major comedy club in the UK and taken his stand-up shows to cities across the globe, from Tokyo to Johannesburg to Mumbai.
Paul is best known to millions as one of the Chasers on ITV's The Chase, a role he has held since 2011, and he went on to win the British Quizzing Championship in 2019. As a club comedian he was nominated three times for Best Club Comedian at the Chortle Awards, winning in 2014, and his Radio 4 series Paul Sinha's History Revision won the Rose d'Or for radio comedy. He is also a regular on Just A Minute and The News Quiz, and published his memoir, One Sinha Lifetime, in 2024.
Paul's rare combination of stand-up craft, broadcasting recognition and genuine quick wit makes him a standout booking for corporate events, awards nights and comedy clubs alike. Audiences already know him from television, but it is his sharp, warm stand-up material that wins them over in the room, and his experience hosting and quizzing means he is equally comfortable compering an evening as headlining one, making him a strong draw for any event looking for a familiar face and a properly funny set.
