Mick Ferry - stand-up comedian, compere and headliner

Mick Ferry is a Manchester based stand-up comedian who has spent almost three decades working the length and breadth of the UK comedy circuit, from the Frog and Bucket in Manchester to Liverpool's Hot Water Comedy Club and stages across the North West and beyond. He first took to the microphone in spring 1997 and built his name as a compere and headliner known for surreal, sharply observed material and an effortless ability to read a room and pull material from thin air. Fellow comedians and audiences alike rate him as one of the most dependable acts working today.

His television credits include Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow on BBC One, John Bishop's Only Joking on Sky1, and multiple series of The Comedy Store for Comedy Central, alongside regular slots on BBC radio shows including Jason Manford and Friends and Fred MacAulay and Friends. He is a long standing member of the Cutting Edge Show at The Comedy Store, appeared in Ken Loach's Cannes nominated film Looking for Eric, and has shared stages with Peter Kay, Sean Lock, Johnny Vegas, Al Murray and Steve Coogan. He was voted UK Circuit Comedian of the Year in 2013 and later picked up Joe.co.uk's Club Comedian of the Year award in 2019.

For promoters and event organisers, Mick brings decades of stage experience, a fast, adaptable style that works equally well for topical corporate crowds and regular club audiences, and the professionalism of someone who compere shows for a living. He is as comfortable headlining a full evening as he is holding a room together as compere, making him a versatile, dependable booking for corporate events, comedy clubs and private functions across the UK.
