Adam Rowe started stand-up in Liverpool in 2010 at eighteen, and within a little over a year had won Liverpool Comedian of the Year, a result strong enough to make him quit his bar job and go full-time. Brought up in the Dovecot and West Derby areas of the city, he left a maths degree at the University of Liverpool unfinished to concentrate on comedy, a decision that has clearly paid off.
His brutally honest, opinionated stand-up and sharp audience interaction have made him one of the biggest names to come out of the Liverpool scene, with his online clips passing 50 million views. He won Dave's Funniest Joke of the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018, has recorded four full specials including Club Comic, Juicy and What's Wrong With Me?, filmed at the Liverpool Empire, and appeared on Live at the Apollo. He also co-hosts the award-winning Have a Word podcast with fellow comedian Dan Nightingale.
